Here is the baby card...

I just LOVE this image from Wee Stamps called Wee One. I also used Bride Bow, Wrinkle Ribbon, Frantage, Pearls, and lots of Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers.    

Sooo cute! The image was embossed in black and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os..

I couldn't wait to ink up this adorable pair called Friendship is the Great Gift from Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps. The papers are from my stash. I also used some feathers, Merry Christmas Sentiment from High Hopes Rubber Stamps, Pearls, Flowers, Liquid Applique, and Frantage.

For my handmade item, I created a custom pin using Large Headpin, Small Spacers, and some beads from my stash.

I thought this image would be great for a christmas card for my sister! :-)

"Little Man" Baby Shower

Hello stamping friends!!

We had a wonderful weekend. We went to Walt Disney World for our annual Food and Wine Festival trip with our friends. We had a great time on Saturday eating and drinking. My mom came down from Georgia to watch the kids for us. Then on Sunday, they drove down to Disney with the kids and we met up to go to the parks. It was fun having my mom and step father with us. 

We got home late last night so I'm trying to get caught up. Orders placed over the weekend will ship out today.

A few weeks ago, my friend hosted a baby shower for her friend and she asked me to create a custom name banner to use for the shower and then later put in the baby's room.

The theme for the shower/room is "Little Man" with a Yellow, Light Blue, Gray and Black color scheme with Mustashes. My friend provided the papers she wanted me to use. 

Here is the Banner...

I cut out the Mustashes on my Shilouette machine.

As a surprise, I created a coordinating card for my friend to give to the mother-to-be...

I used the adorable Wee One from Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps. The papers were left overs from the banner. 

I also used Cloud & Flag DooHickey from Magnolia, Twine, Black Rhinestones, and Frantage.

Ok, as I mentioned, the them was "Little Man" with Mustashes. So I diecut a teeny-tiny mushashe on my Shilouette and added it to the image...

 

It's he such a cute "Little Man"?!!

Amy - A teach Thank You card

Hello stamping friends!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! We had a wet one. Although we did manage to have some fun anyway. On Saturday night, my husband and I went to a comedy club with another 4 couples and had a blast. Then on Sunday, I took Ryan to a birthday party for our friend Luke's (aka Pray For Luke) younger brother Abram. The boys had a lot of fun.

Luke's chomping on some chewy candy - they just broke open the Pinata! I can't get over how well Luke is doing! He's such a strong fighter!! The party was a soccer theme and they had a coach come and run some soccer drills. They had a blast!

So we only have 6 1/2 weeks of school left! It's crazy how the time flies! Therefore, I decided it was time for me to get started on the teacher appreciation cards. With 5 teachers this year, I need to give myself some time. Plus I also need 4 coach/1 team mom, 2 Mother's Day, and birthday card for Scott all around the same time!

So what did you think of the Super Bowl? That power outage was crazy! What was your favorite ad?

Mine might have been the "Montana Stain" commercial from Tide. I loved the twist at the end! LOL

And I always love the Budweiser Clydesdale commercials. I love how they get "emotion" and love from horses. My daughter takes riding lessons and although horses can be trained for showing, they aren't actors so I love how they manage to get a video that is just perfect!!

Stamp and Create December Challenge: Sparkly Christmas

I'm going on a Mission Trip to Ecuador with the family and other families the week after Christmas. As a stamper/cardmaker, I thought it would be nice to bring a ton of cards from all over the world to these kids. It would be fun to show them that people are thinking of them all over the world as well as a fun geography lesson. Well, it's December now so the countdown to Christmas begins!! I love this time of year, but it always seems to pass by so quickly. I've been working on finishing up my Christmas cards so I can get them in the mail and realized that I am a little behind! So I will have to get busy crafting in order to make a few more cards.

Ok, today is time for a new ABC Christmas Challenge! I love getting to use some of my favorite Christmas/Winter stamps that maybe didn't get enough use over the Holidays. That's one of the best things about playing along with the ABC Christmas Challenges! Of course, the other is actually not having to rush to finish up massive amounts of cards in November/December!!

This is basically: Christmas Trees, Holly, Mistletoe, or add Evergreen color to your card.

I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day. Mine was extremely busy and nothing ended up going my way. But I did create a "scavenger hunt" for the kids to search for their little gift. They thought it was fun and had a great time following the clues I left around the house. I would have taken pictures except the house was too much of a mess and it would have been embarrassing!! LOL

Last week I was behind and didn't get my ABC Christmas Card done in time for the challenge. But I have one for the mid-way post! There is still one more week to participate in this challenge.

ABC Christmas Challenge: X is for Xerox

The kids and I are enjoying our week off from school. I'm still working but trying to just do the basics. And yesterday I was able to get into my craft room for a little while to finish up a project I have been working on. You will see that tomorrow.

Then I need to grab a few things at the grocery store for Thanksgiving and Ansley wants to bake cookies.
