ABC Christmas Challenge: A is for Animal Mid-Way

Today is the ABC Christmas Mid-Way post for the A is for Animal Challenge. 

I made this card using another of the Strawberry Kisses adorable images...

This is called Cuteness. The papers are Blissful Blizzard from Fancy Pants along with Christmas Tree Charm 2 and Liquid Pearls. 

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...

ABC Christmas Challenge: A is for Animals

It's time for a new ABC Christmas Challenge.

We have started the year over, so that means it's time to start all over in the alphabet as well!

The new challenge is:

A is for Animal

Now here is my card...

Luckily I was behind with cards last year so I needed some last minute cards. Otherwise, I would not have been able to have a card this week. It's been rough being gone for almost 2 weeks and then coming back to a High Hopes release.

Anyway, this card is made using an adorable stamp from Strawberry Kisses called Love You.

The paper is MME Winter Wonderland along with Christmas Tree Charm 3, Big Cozy DooHickey from Magnolia, Liquid Pearls, and Liquid Applique.  

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...

Purrfectly sweet

Hello stamping friends!!

Today is the first official day of my kid's Christmas Break. They are off for almost 3 weeks. I'm really looking forward to spend the holidays with them! We have a few parties planned this weekend. I will have one more run to the post office on Monday (Christmas Eve). Then I will be on vacation until Jan 4th/5th while we go to Ecuador for our Missions Trip.

Yesterday the kids had a class party and we brought in gifts for the teachers. I was a card-making-fool the night before making 5 cards for the teachers! Boy, it was much easier when they only had 1 teacher each!! Anyway, I will be sharing the cards with you over the next few weeks. 

Today I have a card using one of the Strawberry Kiss stamps from Crafter's Companion...

This cutie is called Love You. All of my daughter's teacher's cards feature a cat in honor of our new kitten Scout. 

The papers are Winter Wonderland from My Mind's Eye. I added some pearls and liquid applique. 

I didn't finish the cards until it was dark so I had to take the pictures on a foggy/chilly morning so excuse the background in the photo.
