I hope you had a lovely week. I'm looking forward to the weekend. Soccer season is in full swing now and baseball practices have begun. So we have a soccer game for my daughter (in Jekyll Island - almost 2 hours away) and baseball practice for my son back home. Therefore, we will probably have to "divide and conqure"! Tis the season I guess.  I'm hoping to be able to stay in the Jekyll Island area with my daughter to for a little "birthday" fun. And on Sunday she is having a few school friends over to go to the pool. Nothing like dragging out a birthday for a week, right?!

Hello stamping friends!

I hope you had a great week. Wednesday was my son's last day of school. They had awards ceremony on Tuesday and he received an award for All A's 4th Quarter, A/B Honor Roll for the whole year (he only received 2 B's the whole year), a Metal for 5 in FCAT in Math (Statewide standardized testing; he only got one or two wrong on the whole test), and a Metal for 5 in FCAT in English (again, got the best score just short of a perfect score). We are so proud of him. Now if only he could just sit still in school! LOL

It was a really great year!

Now summer break is in full swing. This summer I will be watching my friend's kids all summer. We will be going on some fun field trips as well as just hanging at the pool or the house. Therefore, I am reducing my hours to part time. I will still get orders shipped out, however, I might not be spending as much time on other things. Luckily I have a bunch of cards that have already been made which will be posted later.

I hope you had a great week. It was a busy one for me (as usual). I still have a sore back from when I pulled it almost 2 weeks ago, but at least I can function; just can't stand for too long. I also have a sore throat which I hope is just allergies.

Well, after waiting 5 days, the Magnolia Animal of the Year Release finally arrived. Needless to say, I was not happy with UPS when their tracking system was totally not working correctly for my order so I had to wait at the house multiple days waiting for it because I didn't know when it was actually going to arrive. 

Anyway, the stamps are now in stock. Pre-Orders shipped out yesterday.

The DooHickeys are supposed to arrive next week (hopefully they will arrive on time).

Stamp and Create with Magnolia Challenge: Spring Colors

Hello stamping friends!

Sorry I've been so quite. It's been a busy few weeks. After Spring Break I chapperoned my daughter's field trip; I've been trying to catch up ever since! I had a nasty headache on Wednesday and actually had to lie down for a few hours because I couldn't handle it. Luckily it went away, but then my stomach felt queasy for awhile. My stomach still doesn't feel so great, but sometimes you just have to push through! The world doesn't stop when Mommy doesn't feel well! 

Today is another very busy day. My dauther has a half day of school but has to go back a few hours later for her first track meet. Then shortly after the meet is over (I mean like an hour later - not enough time to drive home and then drive back), they are having a school 80's themed dance! Since we don't have a lot of time, I think she is going to have to get dressed for the party in the school locker room! Anyway, wish her luck - she's a little nervous about both the track meet and the dance.

Let it Snow

I hope you had a lovely weekend. We had a nice relaxing and fun weekend. We didn't do anything major, just spent time time with friends. The kids are still out for Christmas break until Wednesday so we are enjoying the time off.

I was out of town this weekend at my Father-in-law's memorial service. It was very nice. 

But we are glad that it's over and that we can now move on to enjoy the Christmas season!

I created a gift bag using this Tutorial I created a few years ago using the new image called Noel Tilda from the Winter Wonderland Collection.

The papers are from my stash from a few years ago (glitter stack from My Mind's Eye I think) along with Heart Banner Die, Spruce and Lovely Fence DooHickey, Pearls, and Frantage.

I also added some chunky glitter from Martha Stewart that I've had for years.

The mascot for Ansley's new school is a Knight with the school colors or Hunter Green and black. I made this fun card for one of her teachers using Black Knight from Magnolia.
