Today I am sharing a card I made using an older design. This is called Leapin' Leprechaun. He's one of the stamps available under the "St. Patricks" collection listed on the High Hopes Website under Occasions. I thought it would be perfect to showcase with St. Patrick's Day around the corner. Make sure to check out the other St. Patty's designs as well.

What goes better with Leprechauns than Rainbows and Gold?!

I found some fun paper from My Mind's Eye and used a rainbow of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. A little die cut pieces from Gold glitter card stock to round it off.

My daughter has a Valentine's Themed birthday party today for a friend so she picked out this stamp to use for her card...

This is of the designs from Miss Anya Hats Off from The Greeting Farm Stamps, High Rise Numbers Dies, Romantic Lace DooHickey, Feathers, and Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers.

It's hard to see in these pictures, but the pattern on the paper is GLITTER along with the "12"!! So sparkly in real life.

This is the new Berry Nice from the High Hopes Furry and Fun release. 

The papers are some old ones in my stash from October Afternoon. I created a sentiment on my computer and cut it out with Christmas Tags DooHickey. I also used Bride Bow and Romantic Lace DooHickeys, Pearls, Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers and Strawberry Charm to finish the card.

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os... 

 

I think this will be a cute card for one of my kids' teachers for Valentine's Day.

Sorry I have been so quiet on here. I had an emergancy surgery last weekend to have my gallbladder removed. After a long night of extreme pain (in which I actually thought I was having a heart attack), it was determined that my gallbladder needed to be removed. It was laproscopic so the recovery is fairly easy. Just still a little sore and tired. However, I am back to working as normal. 

And I even made it into my craft room yesterday.

Undefeated Soccer Season (11/24)

Birthday girl

Hello stamping friends!

Well yesterday was my birthday. 43...who cares, really? It was a strange birthday. Instead of celebrating my birthday, I took my husband to the airport so he could help his sister get ready for their mother's Memorial service on Saturday. Yes, my Mother-in-Law passed away last Wednesday. It was a short battle, but she lost her fight against lung cancer. She passed away less than a year after we lost my Father-in-Law. Although we are sad to loose Nana, we are glad knowing that she is reunited with her soul mate and is in the presence of Jesus now. 

Here's a picture of Nana with my husband and kids when she was here for Mother's day. This was a few weeks before she was diagnosed...

Set of Simple Christmas Cards

A friend of mine asked me to make her a set of 6 cards based on this card I made earlier.

I used a pad of coordinating paper that I had in my sash. Just some simple 2-step stamping, silver heat embossing, and ribbon.
