I hope you are having a lovely week. It's been a busy week for me...but then again, when it is not a busy week?! Between the store, two kids in 3 different sports, watching my friend's kids after school a few days a week, and DT projects, I usually am running around like a chicken with it's head cut off most of the time. I guess that's my "norm".

The new Magnolia Animal of the Year DooHickeys arrived this week.

I have been waiting for one of the new dies to come so I pulled one out and played along as soon as they arrived. This is Vintage Square DooHickey. Now I can't show the whole card because it's for a DT challenge in a few weeks. But here is a sneak peek...
Yep, that's right, Magnolia came out with a design that will cut "shaped" cards - well, at least it cuts the shape of the front, and you can add a card to the back. It's just over 5 1/2" square at the widest parts so it easily works with 6" Paper Packs. And the inside pieces allow for a 4 1/2" square card to be attached. I love it!!

I also used Bride Bow DooHickey and Christmas Tag DooHickey from Magnolia, Frantage, Pearls, Feathers, and Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers (Pink Cottage Rose, Pink Carnation, Green and White Open Roses, White Hip Roses, and Leaves).

I hope she likes it. I really love the colors together and the black makes it really pop out.

And so it begins!! Soccer season started this weekend for my daughter while Baseball season started a few weeks ago for my son. And now Ansley is going to participate with track at her school as well! Looks like we will have Soccer practice on Monday nights. Track practice after school Tuesday and Baseball practice Tuesday night. Soccer practice on Wednesday nights. And Track practice Thursday after school and Baseball practice Thursday nights! Games start up in a few weeks, too! If you need me, I'll be in my car or at some ball field somewhere!! Goodness!!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a nice relaxing one. Some family time, Movie night (The Lego Movie; so cute), dinner with friends. It was nice.
Ansley has a few Tween birthdays coming up for some of her friends. At 12 years old, many of the "cutesy" stamps are not appropriate for these young ladies. Therefore, I was so excited to see the newest release from Make it Crafty. The Tress stamps are perfect for Ansley's friends...
