I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great time with my sister and family in town. We did some shopping, went to Christmas Eve church service, spent Christmas mostly in our PJs then spent all day yesterday at St. Augustine. Today we saw Thor at the movies (awesome movie - LOVE me some Thor) and they left this afternoon. The house is now so quiet!!
Anyway, before Christmas one of Ryan's friend had a birthday. We weren't able to go to the party since we were out of town for my FIL's memorial service.
I made this card for the birthday boy...
This is an adorable image from Lily of the Valley called Karate Kid. The papers are Say Cheese from Simple Stories along with By the Letters Uppercase and Lowercase dies from My Favorite things, Starlight Lce DooHickey, and Frantage.

Over the past few months, I have gotten a few requests to make some soccer themed cards for a few friends. They all chose the same adorable stamp from Lili of the Valley called Super Striker.
First set using Blue and White colors...
Products used: Black and White Dot paper from Dots and Stripes (the rest of the paper is from my stash), Grass DooHickey from Magnolia, By the Letters Uppercase and Lowercase Dies.
Another set using Red and White colors...
Grass DooHickey from Magnolia, By the Letters Uppercase and Lowercase Dies, and Heart Banner Die (for the Team mom's card).
And another card for a local coach...
Black and White dot paper from Dots and Stripes,Chevron paper from On the Bright Side, Grass DooHickey from Magnolia,

I have been very busy lately with end of school year activities and field trips and parties as well as looking into schools for my daughter next year. So I'm behind with DT work. Although I don't have cards for those teams, I still want to mention the challenges:

I made these cards for my son's Soccer Coaches using a Lili of the Vally stamp called Super Stricker.
The papers are a mix from my stash to match the team colors (Gold, Black, and White). The title was diecut using by the Letters Uppercase and Lowercase from My Favorite Things. I also used some Black Rhinestones and Grass DooHickey from Magnolia.
The images were embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os.

Here is my card...
I created a traditional "quilt"-looking background using 1" squares of paper from 12 Days of Christmas from My Mind's Eye. I will have a tutorial to share next week using this card so you can see how I created the quilted background.

I kept the rest of the card simple to showcase the quilted background.

Well, it was a fantastic Spring Break Trip to Tennessee! But today we are on our way home! We are so happy that we had such wonderful weather this trip. It really made me appreciate my husband's hometown much more. I'm a native Floridian so I'm used to sun and warmth year round - as well as living closer to the beach and a big city. When I first met my husband 13 years ago, Kingsport, TN was a small town. The fun thing to do was hang out at Walmart! LOL But over the years, a lot more restaurants and shops have opened up; giving the town more things to do on a rainy or cold day. Summer trips were always fun but Spring, Fall, or Winter trips usually meant we spent a lot of time indoors because it was either cold, snowing, or raining. But this trip was gorgeous!!
Yesterday we went to Bays Mountain and saw some rescued wildlife and went zip-lining! Even Nana (my MIL) went! It was a lot of fun. Ryan was afraid to go by himself so he went with me the first time. Then after he went once, he was ready to do it on it own so we went a 2nd time.
