I'm so glad it's the weekend. It's been a long and draining week. Your prayers are appreciated for a family illness (which has been requested that it not be posted here). 

Earlier this summer I made this card for a friend's 9th birthday. His party was a "rock n roll" themed party. His father is also a drummer in a band with some work friends so I thought this image was perfect for him...

 

This is from Kenny K, but is now retired as a rubber stamp and with sentiment from Everyday Moments. The papers are Say Cheese from Simple Stories along with Frantage, Black Pearls, Starlight Lace DooHickey, and High Rise Numbers Die.

Gamer Boy Birthday

Hello stamping friends!

We've had a busy week. Monday, we went to a waterpark with friends in Southern Georgia.

(The kids having fun with the underwater camera)...

On Tuesday, I met my sister and her family at the beach in Ormond Beach, FL (just North of Daytona).

The kids LOVE their cousins...

Wednesday we had a "lazy day" so I could get some work done (and recover from a little too much sun at the beach). Then yesterday we went to a Wild Cat Rescue facility.

Game On!!

Hello stamping friends!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a fun night Friday playing poker with some friends. Then saturday we had a baseball game and a sleepover with the kids' friends. Sunday was church and a soccer game. Now I'm trying to recover from loosing an hour sleep on Saturday night when the time changed. Ug! I hate loosing sleep.

A few weeks ago, my kids were invited to a party for our old pal Luke (Remember "Pray for Luke"?). Luke is still in therapy and doing amazing! Doctors said he wouldn't walk, yet he proved them wrong! It was so nice to see him and his family.

Luke's mom got a Video Game trailer for the party. The kids were in HEAVEN playing all sorts of video games. I mean, what little kids wouldn't love that?!

Commission Card

I hope you had a lovely weekend. We went to TN last week for a few days to visit my father-in-law who has been fighting a rare form of cancer. He is now enrolled in Hospice so we took the kids to visit (which is probably the last time). It was sad. But we know that he is at Peace and is ready to meet Jesus. 

We returned in time for Ansley's soccer game and Ryan's baseball game on Saturday. Then on Sunday, we had Ryan's birthday party. I'll share pictures and his card later.

Birthday Cheers!!

Hello stamping friends!!

I hope you are having a lovely Holiday weekend (for my US friends). We had a great weekend so far. On Friday night my friend had the kids over to play so the hubster and I went out for Sushi dinner! :-) Saturday was the beginning of College Football so we went to a friends house for an all day of football followed by a Poker Night!! I actually played well considering it was my 4th time playing (and 2nd time with the professional dealers). I was the "Trip Queen"!! I must have gotten 5 or 6 Tripples! A total fluke of course, but I did make it in the top 7 for the night. Sunday was a day of rest (and laundry, washing the dog, grocery shopping, etc). Today one of Ryan's friends are coming over and I hope to get a little crafting done. It's going to be a busy but short work week. I am scheduled to help Ryan's school with their book fair a few days this week. 

Oh, and Ansley started cheerleading last week which means between Ansley's soccer and Cheerleading, Ryan's Baseball, and Scott's travel, I just might loose my mind!! LOL

More Soccer cards

I hope you had a lovely weekend. Yesterday was my 12th wedding anniversary so my husband and I had a date night on Friday night while the kids went to a friend's house for a sleep over. On Saturday, we went to a Comedy Club with a group of friends while the kids were at a baby sitter. Then on Sunday we went to church followed by a friend's 8th Brithday Pool Party. I will share the card I made for our little friend tomorrow. 

In the mean time, I have a few more soccer cards to share. These were made for my daughter's Soccer Coaches for the end-of-season party a few weeks ago...

There is a major lack of soccer images for girls! My daughter has been with the same coach for a few seasons so I don't want to reuse the same stamp each season! But I figured this image from Kenny K is as good as any for a soccer coach. The image is called Anime Soccer. The papers are a mix from my stash, but the black paper is Dots and Stripes from Echo Park, Grass DooHickey from Magnolia, and Black Rhinestones.

Today is the beginning of FCATs. FCATs are the Florida Standardized Testing for 3rd grader and up to grade or judge the levels of the school based on the abilities of the students. It's a very stressful time and most parents, teachers, and administrators do not like the system - it puts too much pressure on the kids. Therefore my prayers go out to all of the sudents and teachers in Florida today as they start the week-long testing.

Hockey Chick Birthday Card

Hello stamping friends!!

We are in Tennessee visting my in-laws for Spring Break. My FIL has cancer and can no longer travel so we try to come as often as we can. My husband had to stay home to work so it's just me and the kids. It was my first time driving across the NC/TN mountains and it rained half of the 8 hour 45 minute drive!! Luckily it was dry over the mountains. But there was forecast for snow today and Tuesday so I either had to drive in the rain or drive in snow...I chose rain!

To today, it was in the mid to lower 30's and it snowed on and off all day. Just a light flurry most of the time with one 20 minute dusting. But the ground was too warm already for the snow to stick. It's supposed to snow again throughout the night so we might wake up to snow on the ground in the morning. 

My kids has a great time trying to catch snowflakes...

Yes, it was snowing, but so light that they really didn't show up on film.

Is this better?! This little snow flurry lasted about 20 minutes. Came of heavy and accumulated for a few minutes. Then as soon as the snow stopped, it was warm and melted. 

It was snowing too hard to take my Canon Rebel out so I stayed under the covered porch and used the zoom lens.

The snows stopped here but the snowball fight continued!

Ok, so I have a card to share today. I made this for my niece for her birthday (can't believe she is going to be 17!!!)...

This is the sassy Hockey Girl from Kenny K through Whimsy Stamps. I tried out some of the new Washi Tape (so easy to use!!). I added some Fire Red Mini Blooms, Coconut Mini Blooms, White Serenade Flowers, and Red Rhinestones.

Download Diva for my niece

Hello stampin friends!!

Sorry it's been so long since I posted. I've had a busy, but wonderful Birthday week! 

My friends surprised me at the team soccer party with balloons, cakes, and drinks! Then on Friday night, we went out as a family to the Melting Pot. On Saturday, I went out to dinner with two awesome friends then we watched "Eclipse" together. And last night, a group of friends went to see "Breaking Dawn"! It was a wonderful week! 

My kids have off school this week. So I plan on taking some time off to spend with them. I will still be filling orders, but I will probably limit my crafting/posting time. 

We don't have a Product Spotlight this week, but we do have a new weekly candy at the Stamp and Create blog...

Magical Monday Challenge & Stamp and Create Product Spotlight

Hello stamping friends!

I hope you had a lovely weekend. We have a fun-filled one. On Saturday morning we had a birthday party at the beach for one of our friend's little 4 year old daughter. Then Saturday night a friend of ours had a "wine tasting party". Oh my, we had so much fun!! But, man...I "might" have drank a little too much wine! (wink, wink)!! Yesterday we had Life Group/Bible Study, a little stamping, and church Sunday night. 

This week Soccer practice starts and it looks like it's going to be a busy schedule. We haven't gotten the final schedule, but it appears that we will have practice Monday night for Ansley, Tuesday night for Ryan, Wednesday night of Ansley, then Thursday night for Ryan followed by games on saturday morning for Ryan and Saturday afternoon for Ansley!! Lord help me now!! The first game is on Sept 10th (which happens to be Ansley's 9th birthday). I'm already stressed out!!

Magical Monday Challenge & Kenny K Product Spotlight

Hello stamping friends!! 

I hope you are having a love long weekend for my US and Canadian friends!! The weather was soooo beautiful here in Sunny South Florida! My husband was out of town working (boo), so the kids and I took advantage of the weather and headed for the beach. But bad mommy here totally forgot to put on Sunblock so all 3 of us are now sunburned!! Ouch!! Ryan has it the worst, though! Ansley's long hair blocked most of her back. And I got splotches of sun on my legs and arms because I was under the umbrella most of the time so only some areas that stuck out got burned. Poor Ryan's whole back and shoulders are so red :-( 

Here's a poor picture I took with my phone when we first got there. It cleared up a bit shortly after we arrived. But there were man-o-war on the beach and jelly fish in the water so we mostly stayed on the beach....

This sassy girl is Kitty Katastrophy. She was embossed in black and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os.

The papers are Basic Grey Porcelain (so sad they retired this line). 

I also used the new Music Notes by Whimsy (masked Kitty with another image, then stamped the music notes over her - first stamped off the music notes onto a scrap paper so it's a "2nd stamped" to be faded). Then I used Circle Postmark...

The ticket was created with the new Friendship Ticket Sentiment and Ticket Die.
