Today I'm sharing another Christmas scrapbook layout. 

This one is from 2003 when my now 13 year old was only 15 months old (my how time flies). 

I used Getting Spruced Up S241 for this layout.
I kept it simple so that it fits nice and flat in a scrapbook.
I used some die cuts to cut out the title from glitter card stock, a Star punch and spruce die, and ric rac ribbon to finish it off.

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os and a few Copics...

I needed to get started on some Valentine's Day cards for the kids' teachers. 

I chose Sunday's Best (on sale 50% off at Stamp and Create- only 1 available; or here at High Hopes) for my son's teacher. It's nice and cute, but not overly "lovey-dovey" since it's a card for a teacher from a 5th grade boy ;-) 

 

This image is really cute for a Mother's Day card as well.

Well it's back to the grind!
My kids went back to school yesterday after their almost-3 week break.
I love being home with them, but it is hard to get anything done.
We had a great time together while they were on break and we are looking forward to a great year!

I had these pictures already printed out so I went with 2014 first (I don't think I have any Christmas layouts completed yet!! I have 13 years to catch up on!! Yikes!

 

 

I decided to use Sitting Santa S203 for this layout.

Today I created a Thank you card for a friend. She loves to golf and we live in Florida so I paired these two stamps together to create a fun scene.
This is Swinging Sherry and Palm Tree S096.

I created a Zig Zag Card (or a Center Step Card). You can find a tutorial here created by Kristine.

I needed a few tags so I pulled out this adorable stamp called His Love For Ewe M103.

I just embossed the image in white onto Kraft cardstock, inked up around the edges in brown and then added some bakers twine. Easy peasy!!!

Well, I'm sorry I missed my post last week. My husband was in the hospital with a blood clot. Luckily they found it early and a few days of hospital bed rest and blood thinners and he will be ok. 

It has been a little crazy while he was gone so I am so thankful that I colored up two of these images the last time so I had a colored image already to be popped on a card...

Today I pulled out an old image. Actually it's an older design, but it's new to me. I've always admired this design but never owned it until recently. 

This is: Jolly Old St. Nick T037

I colored the cats to match my two kitties :-)

The papers are from My Mind's Eye. I used a buckle hardware I've had for ages paired with some glitter ribbon to make a Santa belt. I added some Liquid Applique on the fur of Santa's hat and coat.

Last year I made a card using this Pumpkin Card Base. It was a lot of fun so I thought I would try it again. This time I used Free Broom Rides TT017 from the last release. 

 

I created the card back on my Silhouette. 

I added some Frantage around the edges, Liquid Pearls, Banner Die, Flowers, and Fence Die to finish it off.

I live in Florida so it's usually still horribly hot this time of year. However, we recently had some cooler temperatures. By cooler, I mean mid-80's. Not exactly sweater weather but still nicer than sweating while just going out to get the kids from the bus stop!
But...whenever we get cooler, that usually means the rest of the world is freezing!
I hope that our cooler-than-normal temps we had earlier this week means that some of you are starting to feel some Fall temps.
Although I'm not quite ready for winter, I sure am ready for some Fall weather!!

It's NEVER too early to get started on Christmas cards so I am thrilled that this release is filled with such cute Holiday designs.

This cutie pie is called Penguin on Ice TT010. The sentiment is an older one called Holly Jolly K048 

The papers are from Kaisercraft.
The layout is simple for easier mailing.
I just used some Liquid Applique on the hat and stickles glitter for a little bling.

I've been swamped with work this week so I'm behind with my ABC Christmas Challenge:

I used: Red

This cutie pair is called Pengium Love SS003 from High Hopes New Release.

The sentiment is Dot Warm Winter Wishes H257.

It's not a new sentiment but thought it worked with this stamp.

 

I did another Zig Zag/Center Step Card. You can find the tutorial for it here.

 

I used a banner die with Glitter Card Stock, some pearls, flowers, Liquid Applique on the "fur" and lots of stickler on the ice and around the image.

Today and I'm sharing a card I made for one of our friend's 8th birthday.

She just learned how to surf so I knew I wanted to use one of the surfing images from High Hopes.

Since they are all "boy" images, I chose to make Dudley a Dudette by adding a glitter bow. 

This stamp is Surfer Dude Dudley P142 (and available here at Stamp and Create) and Raggedy's Birthday Sentiment E263.

I made a Zig Zag Card (Center Step Card). It's so easy to make and really makes an input. 

High Hopes Designer Kristine made this tutorial awhile go.

This is Gabriel Loves Soccer S525

The papers are a mix from my stash. I added a banner die cut from glitter card stock and Starlight Lace DooHickey Die from Magnolia on the top.

 

Both of my kids play soccer. This is a cute image that resembles my son a little, but my daughter is the goalie in the family. I made this card for my husband for father's day. I used the kids' team colors of Gold, White, and Black.
