I'm sorry that I didn't post the winner of the WOJ Back to School Candy on Thursday like I had planned. On Tuesday night I came down with a nasty cold. Besides packing and shipping orders and a little computer work, I was basically out cold on the couch on Wednesday and Thursday. On friday, I finally got the energy to get to the doctor. I'm on antibiotics and predizone, but I still feel HORRIBLE!!

Huge Announcement!!! And Weekly Wednesday Blog Candy #7

First, the big announcement...

This has been the HARDEST thing in the world to keep a secret!! It's been killing me not being able to share it! But, it's finally time to share...

The awesome, talented, and Funny Dustin Pike is the new artist for High Hopes Rubber Stamps!!

 

AND...we will have a new release next Wednesday, February 20th with his first designs for High Hopes!!

Oh, you are not going to be disappointed with his designs! They are out of this world cute and funny!

The best news is that the High Hopes Divas who have stores already have the stamps IN STOCK and ready to ship out!!!

We will start showing sneak peeks this Sunday for our High Hopes Challenge. There will be more sneak peeks on many of the Diva's blogs on Monday and Tuesday.

Then on Wednesday, there will be a blog hop complete with blog candy to celebrate the release!

You will be able to purchase the stamps from the Diva's stores (including mine at Stamp and Create) on Wednesday!

Now, we can't call Dustin a "Diva", right?! So he has been rightfully named "Sir Dustin" by the Design Team! hehe

Weekly Wednesday Candy 4

It's time for another Weekly Wednesday Candy!!

First off, I have to say that I am soooo behind!! Wags 'n Whiskers will have another release and blog hop on Friday, December 11th with sneak peeks starting next Wednesday! So I have so much to do to get ready for the release.

Plus I am still trying to recover from having family in town for a few days and a weekend at Disney World last week. Why does it take longer to recover from a vacation than the actual vacation?!

Anyway, yesterday Ryan had a playdate with one of his preschool buddies. We went over to his house for a few hours after school. Not even 15 minutes after we got home, Ryan started screaming and crying! Scott was home so he managed to get Ryan to explain that he put a penny in his mouth and swallowed it!!

Now I have heard if you swallow something solid like a penny or a ring or something like that, that it just ends up coming out the other end. But we called the doctor just to be sure. They told us to come in and they took an X-Ray of Ryan's stomach to make sure it was in his stomach and not stuck in his throat. It was cool to see it show up on the X-Ray (I should have taken a picture of the X-Ray file)!!

Tomorrow after school, we have to go back to the doctor to take another X-Ray just to make sure it is moving along and not getting stuck!!

So as if I don't have enough to do already...I get to sit in the doctor's office again tomorrow afternoon!!

Therefore, in honor of my heroic little man....

Happy Hump-day to you!! The week is half over! But in my case, the weekend has just begun! My sister and her family are in town so my house is crazy with 4 kids ages 7, 6, 5, and 4!!

I actually made this card for Ansley's teacher right after Halloween. She came home from school and I thought she said it was her teacher's birthday and all she wanted was some Halloween Candy. So I made her a cute little box to hold some candy and this card. When I showed the card to Ansley, she said...it's not her birthday...she just wants some candy!! LOL Great! I just spent a lot of time on this card!! So, I share it with you instead. I wasn't able to take a picture of the candy box because it wasn't light enough to take a picture.
