High Hopes: Surfer Dude Dudley

Today and I'm sharing a card I made for one of our friend's 8th birthday.

She just learned how to surf so I knew I wanted to use one of the surfing images from High Hopes.

Since they are all "boy" images, I chose to make Dudley a Dudette by adding a glitter bow. 

This stamp is Surfer Dude Dudley P142 (and available here at Stamp and Create) and Raggedy's Birthday Sentiment E263.

I made a Zig Zag Card (Center Step Card). It's so easy to make and really makes an input. 

High Hopes Designer Kristine made this tutorial awhile go. 

 

 

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os:

Olive Vine, Sweet Alfala, Azure, Playful Peony, Nutmeg, and Bashful Blue

Hello stamping friends Fans!!

 

Man, it's been a week! This was the first full week of school and it whipped my behind!! Nothing went as planned and I was trying to play catch up all week. 

Which is why this card is late!!

This is No Peeking Elves T124 and Holly Jolly Sentiment K048 from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

 

I left the card mostly flat for ease of mailing when it's time...

High Hopes: Making Friends

Hello High Hopes Fans!!

It's Lacey here today.
It's my turn to share a card and I have another oldie.
Since it's hot here in Northern Florida, I was thinking about cooler weather...

This is Making Friends from High Hopes Rubber Stamps

 I just LOVE Red and Blue/Teal color combo and I'm so glad I found this paper in my stash.

I like to make my Christmas cards simple so that they are less expensive to mail. So I just added a Flag Banner die in Glitter Cardstock and decorated the edges with "Frantage" embossing.

 

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...

H2O's used:

Nutmeg, Wintermist Grey, Cinnamon, Orange Peal, Pumpkin Spice, Azure, and Bashful Blue

I love working on Christmas cards all year. It really makes it easier at the end of the year when you already have a stack of cards before December.

This is Firefighter Dragon S198 with sentiment from Sentiment Set #3 U506.
I just love all of the High Hopes Dragons. They carry a wide selection here.
I used a few punches and banner die to complete the card. The papers are On the Bright Side One from My Mind's Eye.
