Hello stamping friends!
I'm really behind with stuff. This should have been posted on Monday morning. But my Monday didn't exactly go as planned!
First off, we adopted 2 kittens on Friday. Meet Oreo and Coco:

Ryan's new kitten (which, let's face it, is actually my kitten because Ryan doesn't have the patience to take care of a kitten) is Oreo...

Don't know what's cuter - the kitten or the "many faces of Ryan"! So far Oreo is both a lovable cat and a playful one. She will snuggle and let you kiss all over her. But then she's a frisky thing and loves to chance cat toys and hair rubber bands. She doesn't purr a lot but she cries if you leave her in the room by herself. She does not like the dog at all yet. But she will stalk her and keep a close eye on her.
Ansley's new kitten is Coco (aka Coconut; aka Coco Loco)...

Coco is a gentle thing. She's also a VERY lazy cat. Granted she had just gotten fixed the day before we adopted her so I think she was still recovering. But I was starting to get concerned that she was sick. However, after a day or two, she would get more playful and today she was all over the place. So far she lets Ansley carry her around all the time. She purrs constantly but she has a "broken" meow! Her meow comes out more like a very quiet squeak! Although she's not as playful as Oreo, she is more open to the dog Princess and will probably be the first one who is willing to play with her.
The kids are so happy to have their new pets. They still miss Scout so much and Ansley even cried again today when I was telling a friend about last week.
So, now you know we have two new pets in the house which will lead into my not-so-wonderful Monday story. In addition to have 2 new pets, I am watching my friend's two kids over the Summer. Then another friend's summer babysitter went on vacation so I offered to watch her two kids as well. Therefore, on Monday, I had 6 kids including my own two kids.
Now my back and knees have been hurting me lately making it hard to sleep. Although I went to bed at a decent time Sunday night, I didn't actually fall asleep until around 2am. Then my husband had to get up at 5:30 which woke me up. At 7am, I had to get out of bed to get ready to have the kids arrive. After getting out of the shower, I realized that the dog had an accident in her bed - a BIG mess! I'll leave out of horrible details, but just image that the dog bed, dog cage, AND dog all needed to be scrubbed!
At 7:30 the first two kids arrive. My hair is now a big frizz ball because I noticed the dog mess as I was getting out of the shower (the dog crate is in our bathroom) and didn't bother to brush my wet hair. My hair + moisture = Chia Pet! Now I have 2 kids, a dog that is in the tub waiting for a bath, half of a cage to clean. I wake up my two kids who managed to sleep through this whole thing and get them started on breakfast. Enter the 2nd round of kids. Now Ryan decides he wants to show his friend Oreo. Well, Oreo apparently was on her way up the stairs to the litter box when Ryan grabbed her and guess what...yes, she had an accident! Luckily he was holding her away from him so it just went on the tile floor. Are you kidding me? Now I have dog poop in a cage, dog poop on the dog, and cat poop on the tile floor! Oh, I have to get 6 kids to Vacation Bible School in an hour!!
We managed to get all cleaned up and bathed and at VBS in time. But in the afternoon, our garage refrigerator died (again)! Luckily I noticed it before everything melted or went bad! Needless to so, I had a rough Monday!
Ok, so onto my card that should have been posted on Monday. I made this card at the request of a friend for a birthday party for a girl on their soccer team (the 64 is her shirt number, not her age)...

I used Football Crazy from Popcorn Bear. The papers are My Girl paper from My Mind's Eye. The name was diecut using By the Letters Uppercase and Lowercase from My Favorite Things.

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...

I know the Mom liked the card, but I hope the little girl liked it! :-)
The current challenge at Stamp and Create Blog is: Summer Fun and this image is perfect for the challenge. Come play along. The challenge runs through 7pm EST Sunday, July 1st.
This card is also for the following challenges:
