Today is the beginning of FCATs. FCATs are the Florida Standardized Testing for 3rd grader and up to grade or judge the levels of the school based on the abilities of the students. It's a very stressful time and most parents, teachers, and administrators do not like the system - it puts too much pressure on the kids. Therefore my prayers go out to all of the sudents and teachers in Florida today as they start the week-long testing.

Today I have a card to share that I made for a special little boy who just turned 6. I hope his mom doesn't see this since the part isn't until this weekend. He plays soccer and I tried to match the colors of his team (Royal Blue and White)...
This image is so cute and looks so much like the birthday boy! This is Anime Soccer from Kenny K for Whimsy Stamps. The papers are Scoot from Echo Park along with Grass DooHickey from Magnolia.
The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...
I added a pocket on the inside using the Starlight Lace DooHickey to create a pocket to hold a gift card...
