Hello stamping friends!!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Years! I am looking forward to a wonderful year full of family fun, stamping and getting some scrapbooking done! It's been awhile since I've had time to scrapbook. I miss it! So hopefully I will make more time for it this year. Speaking of time...I can't believe how quickly last year went by. Maybe because we moved last Spring and we spent a lot of time unpacking and working on the house, but it's hard to believe that we have been back in the Jacksonville area for over 9 months already!
We had a lovely Christmas. As I posted before, we went to Disney World before Christmas then my mom and step father came for a visit at Christmas. Then, the day after Christmas, we drove up to Tennessee to visit Scott's parents. It was a nice quiet trip. It was a little rainy and cold most of the time so the kids didn't get to go outside of the house often. But they got to spend some good time with their Nana and Papa. And I got to relax a little and read the Hunger Games series (yes, I read all 3 books in 5 days)! But now it's time to get back to work. Scott has the day off again today and the kids don't go back to school until Thursday but I have to get back to work! The post office is closed today so I can't do any shipping, but I have some paperwork that needs to get done - maybe a little crafting, too!
So now it's time for a new Magical Monday Challenge!
I am sponsoring this week's challenge with my store Stamp and Create...
The new Challenge is: Anything Magical Goes!
**Just remember, you must use a Magical image to enter the challenges: Mermaids, Fairies, Dragons, Angels, etc...
Here is my card...
This is the Christmas card I made for my mom. She loves birds so I thought this image would work well for her. This is the adorable Winter Fairy from Wee Stamps. The papers are Winter Park from Echo Park along with some Cranberry Mini Blooms, Marshmellow Roses, Flower Soft, liquid applique, and liquid pearls.
The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...
I stamped off the image on the inside of the card as well (a goal of mine this year is to finish off the insides of the cards so that I don't end up having to finish the insides of tons of cards at the end of the year)!...
Now it's your turn!! The challenge runs for 2 weeks.
This card is also for the following challenges:
52 Christmas Card Throwdown: Anything Christmas
Drunken Stampers: Glittery Holiday
Hiding in my Craft Room: Freestyle
Thanks for stopping by! Happy stamping!

Gorgeous card, wonderful image, fab colours! Love the way you've continued inside. I'll try that as I always end up with at least 25 cards needing inserts at some point (when my box is full) so I will try to continue and finish them at the same time! Happy New Year to you and yours Karen x
