If you've been a follower of my blog for any time, you have probably heard about my little Buddy Luke. Luke used to live across the street from us and he and my son Ryan learned how to walk together when they were little ones. We played together almost every day for 4 years before we moved away.
On New Year's Eve, Luke had a 30 minute seizure caused from a rare form of Encephalitis and has not been the same since. The damage to his brain caused him to loose his speech and a lot of his mobility.
But God is good!! Luke is defeating the odds and is overcoming challenges when the doctors said he never would.
On Sunday, Luke walked across the Jacksonville Jaguar's Football Field to participate in the coin toss.
Would you like to see Luke walk?

It brings me to tears!! I love that little man!!
(I snatched this photo from Luke's mom's facebook page). Do you see the BIG proud smile on #63? That's Luke's friend Brad Meester - Brad made this day (at least the coin toss) possible for Luke.
You can read about Luke's story here.
