Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge - Stitches

Hello stamping friends!!

Just a quick note to say that tonight at 6 in the Orange Park/Jacksonville, FL area there will be a benefit concert for Luke. Here is a link to a promo video for the event....

We have a busy weekend planned for my family. The concert tonight, a birthday party and neighborhood party on Saturday, church and possibly movies with a friend on Sunday, then another birthday party on Monday. Then EARLY wednesday morning, I will be on a plane on my way to my brother's wedding in St. Lucia!! I can't wait. 

So now I have the new Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge which is:

Stitches

Hand or machine sewn, real or faux it doesn't matter...just add some stitching to your card.

You don't have to use a Wags 'n Whiskers image for the challenge, but if you do, you will be entered into a 2nd drawing for a free WnW digital Stamp.

And here is my card...

This is the new Beary Sweet digital stamp that was released last week. Isn't she so precious?!

I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday this week.

The papers are Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue paired with some pearl brads, ribbon and Whimsy Sentiment.

I printed the image onto watercolor paper, colored her with Twinkling H2Os, and cut her out before adding her to the card with dimensionals... 

I got a new sewing machine for Christmas last year, but never opened it until after we moved. Then I tried to sew on a scrapbook layout over a month ago and it wasn't working correctly. I finally figured out what was wrong this week...the needle must have gone through some glue on that layout because it was sticky and kept messing up the stitches. I swapped out the needle and ta-da...all fixed!! Yeah!!
