So I made it through surgery. I still have my left ovary so the doctor didn't think the spot on my right ovary was cancerous. And he didn't think the spot on my uterus was cancerous either. So all great news.
I had a little reaction to the morphine after the surgery which caused me to be horribly nauseous all day so I didn't get home until almost 5pm. After a full night's rest, I was feeling better today. Just a lot of cramps. Still need a few more days of recovery so I am so glad my mommy is here to help!!
Anyway, since I don't have anything crafty to share, how about some candy?!
This is Ryan and Ansley mice from High Hopes Rubber Stamps (yes, named after my kids).

Good news about the surgery but do take care of yourself - morphine can be horrid - I saw that with my own Mum. Don't underestimate the after effects & be kind to yourself. I seem to have unfollowed somewhere along the lines so have refollowed again. I keep ogling the WnW & HH challenge but have my hands full with learning techniques & colouring at present. Much love to you & your family.

Hi Lacey, I'm so glad that the surgery went well! Glad your mom's there to take care of you, too. Take advantage of her being there and just sit back and recuperate! :) A perfect time to sit and colour!
A card with a little something tucked inside left my place on Monday. I expect it will take up to 2 weeks to get to you, though! Take care!

So happy to hear that the spots were not cancer! You will definitely need a lot of TLC in the coming weeks : ) Even when you feel 'good enough' - please take it very slow and gradual - if you don't, you'll pay for it! Ask me how I know this...
So sweet of you to offer candy for your birthday : ) I rejoice in your life and celebrate with you, Lacey!
I thought I was already following you since I get your updates in my email, but apparently not - so now I am :)
Lots and lots of love and prayers for healing in Jesus' Powerful and Holy Name ♥
