Welcome back to Day 3 of the Dustin Pike comes to High Hopes Sneak Peeks!!
Today I have a fun card to share with you. Did you know yesterday was Dustin's Birthday?!! Well, it was....
So this one's for you, Sir Dustin!! Meet Cherry Chip Chimp (that's a mouthful)!! LOL He will be available for sale at my store on Wednesday!! Yeah!!
My Store Stamp and Create is sponsoring Friday Sketchers this week. So I used their awesome sketch for the layout on my card...
Come play along with the challenge for the chance at a $20 gift certificate to Stamp and Create!!
The image was embossed in black and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...
Once again, I wasn't able to take a picture until later in the day...but this time the scanner wouldn't get a good shot. So this was taken with the flash. I have to admit that the close up is pretty cool since you can see the reflection of the flash off the embossing (I think you can really see the 3-D effect of the embossing), the shine on the cherry from Glossy Accents, and the shimmer from the Twinkling H2Os.
Don't forget the blog hop and release tomorrow!!! I think you start at the High Hopes Challenge Blog.
Card Details:
Stamps: High Hopes Cherry Chip Chimp
Paper: SU Barely Banana CS, Basic Grey Nook and Pantry DP
Tools: EK Success border punch
Embellies: Basic Grey Button, Heidi Swapp Rhinestones, Glossy Accents, Stardust Stickles.
Thanks for stopping by! See you tomorrow on the Hop!!

Very cute sneak peak. I can't wait to see all of them. Can you post a tutorial about how to use the H2O to color with. I have them, but haven't use them much because I don't know how to blend them well together. I saw Crissy's H2O tutorial, but just want to see more and your beautiful coloring technique with H2O.
Thanks,
Ying
