Is that a chill in the air (well, not here in South Florida)?...or is it that....
Love is in the air?!
The theme for this month's Wags 'n Whiskers Release is "Love"! Time to start putting those Holiday stamps away and start thinking about your Valentine's Day projects!!
Today I have 2 sneak peeks for you!!
My first project is for the ABC Challenge - J is for Jigsaw. I am sponsoring ABC Challenge this week and they have allowed me to be a Guest Designer on their awesome blog!
So here is my project and my first sneak peek...
This is called He Loves Me and is illustrated by the awesome Crissy Armstrong. This image is designed after my daughter Ansley...my little Angel!! Our dog Princess is usually not far behind!!
Since the theme for the ABC Challenge was a jigsaw puzzle, this cuttle bug die I have was PERFECT!! I stamped He Loves Me directly onto Coasterboard and watercolored her with Twinkling H2Os. The coasterboard material is similar to watercolor paper, but a little harder to work with to blend.
After I colored the image, I ran it through the cuttlebug die. Then I created a mini pizza box that is a 2 3/4" square box. I added some MME glitter paper and a double bow using the Bow Easy and some Strawberry Organza Ribbon.
Here is a better view of the image He Loves Me. This was colored by our Design Diva Jeanette.
This stamp was designed for Valentine's Day. But it would make a great "Thinking of You", "I miss you", "I'm Praying for you", or even a "sympathy" card.
My next sneak peek is for the boys...
This is Ryan's Chocolate Trouble. Yep, that's my Ryan...he wants to do nice things for his mommy, but he can't resist!! LOL
This stamp was designed as a Valentine's Day Card (great for a mom or teacher), but it would also be great for a Mother's Day card or even a birthday card! How about an "I'm Sorry" card or a tag for a homemade sweet treat?!
Check out this picture of Ryan when he was two...
This is the picture that I sent to Crissy Armstrong to get Ryan's "I'm sorry" look. What do you think, did she get the look right?! I think it's spot on!
Back to the card...
I used some Cosmo Cricket DP, a little sewing, a Label 8 Nestability (only $19.90 at Stamp and Create). I added a large Basic Grey Brad and the sentiment is from Kimmie's Holiday Sentiments.
So, what do you think so far?!
These stamps will be available for sale on Friday. There will be a Blog Hop that starts on the Wags 'n Whiskers Blog at midnight EST Friday morning.
At 7am EST Friday, the stamps will be available for purchase.
Make sure to check out the other Design Diva's sneak peeks. Then come back tomorrow for more sneak peeks.
Don't forget about my Weekly Wednesday Candy here.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!
