ABC Christmas: E is for Evergreen

Hello stamping friends!!

Ok, today is time for a new ABC Christmas Challenge! I love getting to use some of my favorite Christmas/Winter stamps that maybe didn't get enough use over the Holidays. That's one of the best things about playing along with the ABC Christmas Challenges! Of course, the other is actually not having to rush to finish up massive amounts of cards in November/December!! 

The new ABC Christmas Challenge is: E is for Evergreen.

This is basically: Christmas Trees, Holly, Mistletoe, or add Evergreen color to your card.

Just remember that it MUST be a Christmas card or project (tags, gifts, boxes, and Scrapbook pages are allowed as long as they follow the theme).

Here is my card...

I wanted to use the adorable Winter Fairy from Wee Stamps at least one more time! She's so adorable :-)

The papers are Times and Seasons by Echo Park along with a doily, black pearls, and sentiment from Wild Rose Studio (restock WRS order is on the way).

The sketch is from Sketch Saturday this week.

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...

On the inside, I stamped the image again along with some Magnolia Sweet Snowflakes...

ABC Christmas Challenge: C for Charming (mid way)

Hello stamping friends!! 

I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day. Mine was extremely busy and nothing ended up going my way. But I did create a "scavenger hunt" for the kids to search for their little gift. They thought it was fun and had a great time following the clues I left around the house. I would have taken pictures except the house was too much of a mess and it would have been embarrassing!! LOL

Last week I was behind and didn't get my ABC Christmas Card done in time for the challenge. But I have one for the mid-way post! There is still one more week to participate in this challenge.

C is for Charming (add a charm to your card).

Here is my card... 

This is the adorable Heidi from Wee Stamps! I fell in love with her the first moment I saw her. Isn't she just the sweetest?!

The papers are Bo Bunny Snowfall along with some pearls, Sweet Snowflakes from Magnolia, Stickles, and Lace trim. 

The sketch is from Sketch Saturday.

ABC Christmas Challenge: X is for Xerox

Hello stamping friends!!

The kids and I are enjoying our week off from school. I'm still working but trying to just do the basics. And yesterday I was able to get into my craft room for a little while to finish up a project I have been working on. You will see that tomorrow. 

Today, after taking orders to the post office, the kids and I are meeting up with friends to see the Muppet Movie! Then I need to grab a few things at the grocery store for Thanksgiving and Ansley wants to bake cookies. Some time this week we need to pull out the Christmas decorations plus I need to make window treatments for our family room.

Our new challenge is: X for Xerox

You need to copy or case a DT from one of the ABC Christmas Challenges for 2011. Basically, go through the challenges from 2011 and copy or case one of the DT cards. It doesn't have to be an exact duplicate - just make it obvious that you have copied a DT card.

For my card, I am Xerox'ing Heidi's from the W challenge...

The lighting on my card is off, though! We used the same paper but the photos are totally different! 

Anyway, the adorable image is the new A Letter for Me from Wee Stamps. The papers are Bo Bunny Blitzen. I also used the new Snowflake die from Whimsy Stamps, pearls, and stickles. The sentiments are WRS Circle Sentiments.
