Hello stamping friends!!
It's time for a double card post. Today is the new Product Spotlight at Stamp and Create as well as a new Challenge at Magical Monday.
Oh, first up, there is a new Candy over that the Stamp and Create Blog today...
To enter the candy, click here.
Ok, we'll start with the Stamp and Create Product Spotlight...
The weather is changing, the wind is picking up, and the Holidays stamps are getting a lot of use! Therefore it's time to say goodbye to the Summer with a little sale.
This week, all stamps in the "Summer Category" are on sale for 25% off.
This includes many of the Magnolia Winner Takes it All Collection!!
My card for the Summer Sale is for a special person. I had posted a few times over the past few years about my neighbor Barbara who was battling Breast Cancer. Well, today is her last major surgery for her cancer treatment. It's the 2nd half of her reconstruction surgery.
At this point she has had a Trial Drug Chemo, Double Mastectomy, Radiation, Hysterectomy (she tested positive for the BRAC Gene), and the 1st part of her reconstruction which takes fat tissue from her stomach to reconstruct her breasts. Today's surgery is to balance things out so to speak.
It's been a long journey, and she's been such a strong fighter. So, to celebrate the end of her journey, I created this special card for her...
Edited to add:
The card below won Top 3 at Let's Ink it Up for the Think Pink Challenge...
I love the sentiment! I created it on the computer. This strong fighter is Boxing Tilda from Magnolia. The papers are Echo Park Essentials Candy Shoppe. Other product used are: Pink Wrinkle Ribbon, Pearls, Pearl Swirl, Ticket Die from Whimsy Stamps, Butterflies Die from CC Designs, and Liquid Pearls.
The Pink Ribbon is part of a set from Our Daily Bread Designs that I purchased years ago.
Here are a few views...
Tilda was embossed in black and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...
You can see the Product Spotlight Sale here.
This card is also for the following challenges:
Let's Ink it Up: Think Pink
Stamptacular Sunday: Anything Goes (must include a stamp)
The Squirrel and the Fox: One for the Girls
Secret Crafter: White and One other Color

Now it's time for the New Magical Monday Challenge...
The new challenge is: Halloween!
Just remember that you MUST use a Magical Image on your card.
We are sponsored by High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Many of the Magical Monday DT have used some of the adorable High Hopes Halloween stamps so make sure to check them out on the Challenge Blog.
Here is my project...
I made another fun Treat Bag using Witchy Poo & Kitty Frame (on the left). The one on the right using Standing Witchy Poo was created for the High Hopes Challenge last week. But I wanted to show them together.
The papers are Oct 31 along with some Black Ric Rac.
This is a version of my Treat Bag Tutorial Here (I just didn't add the handle).
The challenge runs through Oct 30th.
This is also for the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamps: Halloween (must use a stamp)
Dream Valley Challenge: Halloween
Paper Sundaes: Halloween
Cupcake Inspiration: Photo Inspiration
Thanks for stopping by! Happy stamping!

Hi Lacey,
These are both wonderful. I love your Breast Cancer card. Tilda as a boxer is so appropriate for a lady who sounds like a real fighter. I'm so glad to hear she is winning. I'm sure she will love this. Thanks for joining us at Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge this week.
Hugs,
Andie xx
