Hello stamping friends!! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Yesterday the family went to Wannado City in Sunrise, FL. It's a place where kids can pretend to have different careers and earn a "salary". They can be a Fireman, Police, Fashion Model, Chef, Crime Scene investigator, Doctor, etc... It's lots of fun. The kids do the activities all by themselves (so parents only walk them around to different activities - big kids can do everything themselves while the parents wait in a lounge with free wifi)! My kids are too young to roam free so it was a tiring day for Mommy and Daddy waiting and walking around for 5 HOURS!! But it was definately worth it!
Here's Ansley on the fire truck. She helped save someone who was locked in the city's bank vault!! LOL
Excuse the quality of the photo...it was taken with my phone.
Ok...onto this week's High Hopes Challenge!
The challenge this week is called: Ribbons and Bows.
That's an easy one for me! Especially since I just got some new ribbons in the store :-)
Here's my card...
This is Nightime Bear. I just thought it screamed "T'was the Night Before Christmas"! So I made it a Christmas card. Can't be too early for starting your Christmas cards!
I used some new Kaisercraft paper called Be Merry as well as the new Red Check Ribbon and a stocking charm and Large Crystal Brads.
My store is sponsoring the Paper Sundae's Challenge this week (metal) so I wanted to play along with that challenge.
The sketch is from Friday Sketchers.
The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...
Here's a closeup of the new ribbon (made with a double bow using the bow easy - check out Sharon's tutorial here)...
Now it's your turn! Let's see those High Hopes cards...just remember to add a ribbon or a bow (or you can use a High Hopes image that includes a ribbon on it).
Make sure to check out the challenge post to see the rest of the awesome DT samples!
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!
