So are you ready for a Christmas card to help beat the heat?? It's been soooo hot everywhere lately that I am sure we are all ready for some thoughts of a white Christmas!! LOL Like that would happen in South Florida!! Not since I was in Kindergarten!!
This week's challenge is: N is for Noel with Extra Embossing.
Now, there was a little discussion among the group as to what Noel meant. Some thought it was carols, others thought it was the "new birth", but I think the most common meaning of Noel is just another word for Christmas...therefore basically any Christmas image will do!!
For my card, I used one of the fun digis and digital papers from Wild Rose Studios. Isn't this guy so cute?!
I added some card stock that was embossed with a cuttlebug folder along with a border punch, primas, brads, spacers, and rhinestones.
The image was printed onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...
In case you missed it on the challenge blog, I was one of the stops along the blog hop with candy!! The winner from my blog is: Jennifer (a fellow Floridian)!! I loved her Christmas story about having hail for Christmas!! That's our version of a white christmas!! LOL
Jennifer, please email me at LaceySoLiving@bellsouth.net with your mailing address and I will get you your prize out to you...Oh, the prize...it is the image I used on my card last week (well, a new one...not the one I used)...it's called Mooshie Steals a Kiss.
I am entering this card into a few challenges:
Winter Wonderland: Strawberries and Cream (my water paper is cream colored)
Practical Scrappers: Decorative scissors or Border Punches
Critter Sketch Challenge: Sketch
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!
