I recently sold a box set of cards and laminated notebook for someone to give to her friend as a gift. She wanted a "Dragonfly" theme since her friend collects dragonflies. The gift set included: 10 blank cards, a coordinating box to store the cards until they are used, a personalized re-usable laminated notepad, and a matching gift bag.
Her friend's favorite color is green so I used a blue/green/brown color scheme (blue sky, green grass, brown branches). I found some card designs I liked on Splitcoast stampers and changed them up a bit to go with my colors and supplies.
I used SU Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip card stock and inks. The ribbons are Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, and Bashful Blue Grosgrain ribbons. I used the Spiral Punch on two cards and embossed dots on a few cards with my Crop-a-Dile. I used the dragonfly stamp from "Unfrogettable", Pick a Petal, Polka Dots & Petals, Doodle That (retired), and letters from Best Friend Upper and Best Friend Lower.
The notepad in leaning against the bag in the back. It uses a 5" x 8" "legal pad" from an office supply store then is covered with cardstock, decorated, then laminated to last longer. The laminating causes the cover to pop open so I used a button sewed on the front cover with elastic cord (was sold in the SU Holiday Mini last year) tied onto the back cover then looped around the button for closure.
I think she liked the set. I have a craft show coming up in March so I think I am going to sell some of these sets at the craft show.
